Our portable A3 System is a flooring system designed to be installed, uninstalled and re-installed with ease. The solid floorboards are pre-assembled into lightweight panels and laid on a foam underlayment. Each panel is easily locked into position with a pre-mounted fitting. Specially designed storage carts make transportation of the panels very easy.

The solid floorboards are pre-assembled into light weight panels and laid floating on an underlay of foam. Each panel is easily locked securely into position with a premounted assembling fitting. Lengthwise the panels have a tongue and groove connection and at ends the panels are joined using loose tongues.

For faster and more flexible installation ask for center row which makes two way installation possible. The intermediate layer of 10mm foam is required to provide correct shock absorption and resilience. A supporting and protecting edge reducer forms a strong edge for the perimeter of the floor. Our specially designed storage carts make storage and transportation of the panels easy.

Tru-Maple Sports

Applications: Racquetball and Squash Court Floors, Basketball, Aerobics and Multipurpose Use

Architectural Specifications – CSI Format pdf file

This system consists of two layers of 15/32” thick CDX plywood with 3/4” thick pneumatic rubber pads affixed to the bottom of the first layer of plywood and solid T&G maple flooring strips attached to the top layer of plywood. The floor system is typically finished with two coats of sealer, painted with game lines (when applicable), and finished with two coats of urethane finish. Vented, rubber cove base is then installed to cover the expansion gap around the perimeter of the room.

Tru-Maple Sports captures the essential factors of DIN characteristics known as Din Essence, using commonsensical criteria for shock absorption, ball rebound, deformation and peripheral control. This system is excellent for gymnasiums, aerobics, dance floors and multipurpose floors. The rubber pads are available in two Durometer (hardness) ratings and variable thickness depending on the floor use.

WOOD FLEX CLIP SYSTEM QUICK SPECS

SOLID HARDWOOD FLOORING is pre-finished tongue and groove planking. The wood surface is 7/8” of solid hardwood, allowing it to be sanded and refinished a number of times. Boards are 5” by either 6 or 12 feet in length.

INSTALLATION CLIPS are manufactured of tempered spring steel. While not only holding the boards together, the steel clips also allow the boards to deflect along the tongue and groove joint upon impact and subsequently snap back into place, allowing for ideal shock absorption for the athlete.

CUSHIONING SYSTEM is a 3/8” closed-cell polyethylene aerobic foam. This allows the boards to be cushioned as they flex along the tongue and groove joints upon impact. The foam layer allows the shock to be dissipated and taken away from the participant’s body.
